It’s official! Spring is right around the corner. At least, that’s what Punxsutawney Phil says. For those who are itching for the warm weather and bright, sunny days, here are four ways to prepare for spring in the next six weeks and make time fly.
1. Create a Warm Weather Bucket List
The closer the end of winter gets, the more we dream about fun things to do in warm weather. Well, why just dream it when you can make it a reality? Write out a list of new activities you want to try, places you want to go and things you want to do so you can start budgeting and planning for when the heat finally arrives.
2. Organize Your Wardrobe
The seasonal change is upon us and we all know what that means – digging out our summer clothes and slowly transitioning into our shorts and t-shirts. Stay ahead of the frustrations by marking your storage boxes with what winter items are to go in which containers so you can pack away those unnecessary layers easily and efficiently.
3. Take Inventory
We all know spring is coming, yet we always wait until the last minute to prepare. Take the time now to inventory cleaning supplies, lawn equipment and other household essentials so you know exactly what you need to pick up from the store to get a jump on your spring cleaning and gardening.
4. Practice Self-Care
Winter can be tough in many ways– physically, emotionally, spiritually, etc. Take the time right before spring to establish a self-care routine to help rid your mind of the fogginess. That way, come spring, you are ready to tackle the new season with a renewed sense of focus and excitement.
