2. Take the garage door opener out of your car and leave it for the new owners
3. Defrost your refrigerator
4. Open washing machine door to prevent mold
5. Unplug electronics 24 hours in advance
6. Take a look around your old property and make sure:
   • Water, furnace and air conditioner are turned off
   • Light switches are off
   • All utilities are arranged for disconnection
   • Windows are shut and locked
