1. Set an Intention for This Holiday Season
It can be as broad or specific as you wish, but take a moment to consider how you’d like to spend this time and where you want to focus your energy. Whether it be spending more time with family or finding new ways to give back to your community, this simple action creates awareness and will help you to prioritize later.

2. Get Outdoors
Braving the cold weather isn’t so easy sometimes, but studies suggest that getting outdoors is good for your wellbeing. It’s no secret that cold, dreary weather can cause a person to feel depressed, but you can beat those bad feelings by taking a walk or a hike and stirring up some endorphins.

3. Eat Well
The Holidays present all sorts of yummy options – from holiday cookies to grandma’s green bean casserole, it can be difficult to eat right. Still, eating well is beneficial and will help you remain healthy and strong. Try a new, healthy food each week to keep your meals interesting and keep you inspired.

4. Take Time to Do Nothing
Even a few restful moments in between plans, or at the end of the night, can reduce stress and improve awareness and mood. Make sure to take some time to relax.

5. Remember What It’s All About
For most, the Holidays are all about family and friends, donating to local charities or indulging in the yearly traditions, so remember to take a few moments to reflect on what is most important. Make the most of the Holiday season by focusing on what it means to you and create memories that will last a lifetime.
